To call something “Organic” in the USA requires approval by the National Organic Standard Board NOSB.

Regretfully, many confusing terms exist such as: “Organic Based”, “ Highly Organic”, “Natural” and other environmental friendly terms. These names do not mean that these products are bad, but they are not nationally regulated by ‘Organic’ standards.
